It seems several clubs are interested in signing Andi Zeqiri from Brighton & Hove Albion this summer.
The information comes from Fussball Transfers journalist Lukas Rauer, who on Twitter shares some news on the 24-year-old’s future.
The reporter claims that Zeqiri’s agents confirmed to him that clubs from Germany, France and Italy are all interested in taking Zeqiri from Brighton.
The story just doesn’t name any of the clubs, and doesn’t say how much it’d take to sign the 24-year-old from the Seagulls this summer.
Zeqiri only has one year left in his contract with Brighton. He spent the last couple of years on loan, first playing for Augsburg and then Basel.
This isn’t the first time there’s been claims there are several clubs interested in the player. Last month, outlet Blick had already claimed there’s no shortage of potential buyers for him.
Brighton are said to be interested in letting Zeqiri go on a permanent move, but due to the price requested for his transfer, Basel didn’t fight to keep him at the club.
The striker is currently valued by Transfermarkt at €3.5m.
