Brighton signed Ibrahim Osman from Nordsjaelland earlier this year, and his immediate future at the Amex is uncertain.
The Seagulls paid £16m to sign the Ghana winger, who could now be loaned out immediately by Brighton and then his progress looked at next summer.
His future is linked to the situation of Feyenoord’s Calvin Stengs, reports AD in the Netherlands.
They mention that with Stengs set to join Charlotte FC in the United States, Feyenoord want a replacement for the Dutchman and their chosen option is Osman.
They believe that the 19-year-old can be loaned out by Brighton and there has been ‘some movement’ in the situation of the Ghanaian.
A similar sentiment is mirrored by 1908.nl, who report that the Seagulls are ‘not averse’ to Ibrahim’s loan exit and Feyenoord’s interest is quite concrete right now. While there is interest from other clubs as well, Feyenoord have pushed forward for a loan move for the teenager already so they can get ahead of others.
It’s believed that Feyenoord do not want a buying option in the deal and it would only be a dry loan. Brighton seem open to letting the player leave on a temporary basis because of the surplus of attacking options in their side.
