Brighton and Hove Albion could turn to Ligue 1 to replace Yves Bissouma should he depart, with Cheikh Niasse a potential target.
That’s according to journalist Ignazio Genuardi, who says there is still a chance Liverpool could move for Bissouma.
The Brighton star has been heavily linked with a move away from the Amex this summer after another impressive season last year and a strong start to this campaign.
Liverpool have recently been linked with a move for the Ivory Coast midfielder, with several reports in England suggesting they will make a move before deadline day.
#Mercato #LOSC

If that move were to go through, then it would leave Brighton with a major hole to fill, and Genuardi says they are ‘looking’ in France for his replacement.
Indeed he has a name, with Lille’s Cheick Niasse, a player the Seagulls ‘could make a bid for’ should they need to move.
There’s no mention of what they’d offer or how much Lille would look for, although the French champions are protected as Niasse has a contract until 2023.
At the minute, it all depends on Bissouma, but if he does end up moving, Niasse is a name to keep a close eye on.
