Earlier today we brought you a report from Foot Mercato that Brighton were looking to do some January shopping at Stade de Reims.
According to the report, the Seagulls are keen on defender Hassane Kamara and have already seen a bid rejected for the left-back.
It seems, though, that Kamara is not the only one that Brighton have their eye on at the French club.
Le 10 Sport report that they are also keen on striker Boulaye Dia, with Graham Potter looking to add competition for Neal Maupay.
The website claims that Dia, who has six goals and one assist in 18 games in all competitions this season, has caught Brighton’s attention and is on ‘on their radar’ at Brighton and they are monitoring his development.
The Seagulls are yet to make an ‘official proposal’, but a possible ‘offensive’ cannot be ruled out before the end of the transfer window.
They are likely to face competition for his signature from Marseille, who also appreciate the striker but are also yet to make a move.
Indeed, Brighton may have the upper hand anyway, with it claimed that Reims asking price of between €12-15m is too high for Marseille at this moment in time.
