Born in Ireland’s Limerick on a (we’re guessing) cold February 17th back in 1999, Ryan Nolan’s career as a footballer isn’t what you’d expect.

Currently at Inter, the 20-year-old defender has been with the Milan based club since 2015 after transferring there from Torre Pacheco in Spain.

He’s played in both their U17s and U19s, featuring for their Primavera 1 squad a number of times last season, and he’s now attracting attention from Brighton & Hove Albion and Leeds United in England.

This is what Triveneto Goal are reporting on Monday, claiming both the Premier League club and the Championship side are providing Serie C’s Triestina Calcio competition for his services.

The Italian minnows are reportedly in talks with Inter, but there are no details regarding the extent of Brighton’s or Leeds’ interest beyond what we’ve already covered.

We guess we’ll have to wait and see whether Graham Potter or Marcelo Bielsa push for Nolan’s signature in the next few days, as both their transfer windows close on August 8th.

If they want to beat Triestina, now is the time to make that big move.
