Having signed Jakub Moder and Michał Karbownik from Lech Poznań and Legia Warsaw respectively in 2020, Brighton & Hove Albion could return to the Polish league to look for another player.
That’s according to WP SportoweFakty, who say the Premier League side have set their sights on Pogoń Szczecin’s Kacper Kozłowski. He came up through the ranks of the club’s youth team before getting promoted to the first team in 2019.
Operating mainly as a central midfielder, the 18-year-old has featured regularly for Pogoń Szczecin. Since the start of last season, he has managed six goals and seven assists in 32 matches.
Kozłowski’s fine performances saw him make debut for Poland in March and months later, he became the youngest player to feature in the Euros.
His development has attracted attention of several clubs, including the Seagulls, and it claimed Graham Potter’s side have ‘become very interested’ in the player.
WP SportoweFakty add ‘some sources’ state the ‘matter is a foregone conclusion’, meaning the deal is all but sealed for Kozłowski to become the new Brighton player in January.
