According to Loic Tanzi, who works for SFR Sport in France, Brighton & Hove Albion are getting closer and closer to signing Moussa Sissako from Paris Saint-Germain.

The 17-year-old defender emerged as a target for the Seagulls back in April when RMC Sport claimed the youngster was left impressed by the Premier League side’s approach.

Yet to sign a professional contract with the Ligue 1 champions, Sissako was said to ‘favour a club that would allow him to play first-team football sooner rather than later’.

Seemingly waiting until the end of the season to make a final decision, Loic Tanzi’s report suggests the young defender has finally made his mind up, and will sign with Brighton for the next four years in the ‘coming days’.

This comes after the Seagulls’ inability to convince Batista Mendy to leave Nantes despite multiple reports the transfer was very close to being done in March.

It’s also worth pointing out that in England, the story is very different, with the Argus’ Andy Naylor stating there was nothing to the stories.
