Brighton and Hove Albion are ‘back in the market’ for Rosario Central midfielder Facundo Buonanotte.
That’s according to La Nacion, who name drop the Seagulls as an interested party when discussing the Argentine side today.
They explain that Rosario ‘have a gem’ in Buonanotte, who despite being just 17-years-old is already an ‘extraordinary player’.
The club’s management have already tried to sell him to Brighton in the summer, but the club’s fans protested, and the deal was killed off.
That was something we covered heavily throughout the summer, with Rosario’s president and the player’s agent both sharing their feelings publicly at one point.
Since then, Buonanotte has continued to impress and earlier this week we covered a report stating that Brighton were back in the picture.
La Nacion follow that up and insist they are ‘back in the market’ for the midfielder, suggesting there may be a renewed effort for him in the January transfer window.
This comes on the back of another impressive display from the youngster, who bagged his fourth goal of the campaign in the 1-1 draw with CA Tucuman and now ‘does not know where he will start 2023.’
