Brighton & Hove Albion are one of the clubs said to be attentive about Toulouse forward Max-Alain Gradel, according to reports.
Monday’s edition of French newspaper L’Equipe explains the Seagulls have asked about signing the 32-year-old, who has failed to replicate last season’s form (11 goals and five assists) this term (three goals and two assists).
Saudi Arabian side Ettifaq FC and Turkish side Kayserispor were interested in the Ivory Coast international in the last window.
It’s claimed these two clubs are still following the player.
Gradel, who has struggled with form and fitness, is expected to be out of action until end of January after suffering a hip injury and the report adds this could hamper a potential transfer in the winter market.
The attacker has spent most of his playing career in England and had spells at Leicester City, AFC Bournemouth and Leeds United in the past. His contract with Toulouse will run down in 2021.
