Brighton & Hove Albion and Everton are closely watching Raúl García, according to Estadio Deportivo.
The Real Betis striker is currently on loan at CD Mirandés and has starred for them this season, scoring 19 goals and registering seven assists from 36 games.
García’s fine displays have convinced both Brighton and Everton to send their scouts to monitor him.
The English clubs are ‘convinced’ the 22-year-old can be a ‘good signing’ for them and believe he can perform well in the Premier League.
García’s desire is to be part of the La Liga side’s squad next season, but they have other plans for him. Betis ‘will accept any offer’ they consider to be fair for the player, in order to improve their finances.
Roberto De Zerbi’s side are seventh in the table and in contention to qualify for a European competition next season. The Toffees, on the other hand, are 19th in the table and are fighting to avoid relegation.
Everton are ‘more than capable’ of meeting Betis’ €10m asking price, even if they were to play in the Championship next season. The Seagulls may also be able to meet the Spanish club’s request.
Betis being keen to cash in from García’s sale in the summer could come as encouragement for Brighton and Everton in their chase for the frontman.
