Turkish newspaper Hurriyet report that Galatasaray’s chances of signing Halil Ibrahim Dervisoglu on a permanent move from Brentford look incredibly slim as the English side won’t even consider offers below their valuation of him.

Dervisoglu joined Galatasaray on loan during the last winter transfer window and helped them maintain their league title challenge before they lost out to Besiktas on goal difference.

After his impressive performances, it’s been widely reported in the Turkish media that Gala are looking to keep hold of him for next season, but according to Hurriyet, Brentford aren’t keen to let him go.

It’s reported Brentford have snubbed Galatasaray’s approaches about the player as they are fully focused on their Championship playoff final against Swansea City. Hurriyet add Brentford will not sell him for less than €10m.

Along with Galatasaray, it’s claimed fellow Super Lig sides Fenerbahce and Trabzonspor are also interested in the player.

Dervisoglu scored three league goals for Galatasaray in 12 appearances last season, and is under contract at Griffin Park until June 2024.
