Mykhaylo Mudryk is looking to leave Shakhtar Donetsk following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, and Brentford are among several clubs in the picture to sign him.
On April 15th, Fussball Transfers reported the Bees are ‘making intense efforts’ to secure the services of the 21-year-old.
The website also explained that ‘it is still uncertain’ whether the winger will be able to make a switch to Brentford.
Mudryk is with the Ukrainian side and the Premier League club are in the mix to acquire his services. However, they are not alone and are joined by other teams in the transfer chase.
Sport1 explain Bayer Leverkusen are ‘working’ to bring the Ukraine U21 international to the Bundesliga. They must overcome competition from Thomas Frank’s side to seal the deal.
Brentford ‘already made an offer’ in the winter market and it’s claimed they are ‘trying to get his services again’ in the summer. To do that, the English club have made an offer of €20m.
Along from the Bees and Bayer Leverkusen, AC Milan, Juventus, Torino and Sevilla are ‘also interested’ in Mudryk.
