Fotospor claim Trabzonspor will make another attempt to sign Brentford forward Halil Ibrahim Dervisoglu.

The west London club signed the Turkish U21 international from Dutch side Sparta Rotterdam last summer but the 20 year old stayed with the Dutch club until January.

He’s now made his debut for Thomas Frank’s side and has made four competitive appearances. Trabzonspor are said to be keen to sign the youngster in the summer and are likely to come in for him.

Dervisoglu is reportedly a boyhood Trabzonspor fan and has been closely linked with a move to the Turkish club in the last few years. However, a move to Karadeniz Firtinasi has never materialised.

It’s reported the Brentford player wants to play in the Champions League next season and has already informed Trabzonspor about his wishes.

According to Fotospor, Trabzonspor will open talks with Brentford in the near future with regards to signing the Turkish striker.
