Brentford striker Halil Dervisoglu, who spent the second half of last season at Galatasaray, could look to remain with the Super Lig club.
Dervisoglu joined Cim Bom from Brentford during the winter transfer window, and has quickly established himself as an important figure at the club. His performances have earned him a call up to the Turkish national team ahead of the Euros.
There have been reports coming out of Turkey that Galatasaray would like to keep him, and Aksam claim Dervisoglu could also be open to the idea remaining with them.
The 21-year-old’s family want him to continue his career with the Turkish side, but Dervisoglu will only consider this if Faith Terim remains in charge.
Gala will be electing their new president next month, and with Terim now out of contract there are some uncertainties over his future.
Dervisoglu made 12 appearances for Galatasaray last season, scoring three goals. His contract at Brentford will expire at the end of June 2024.
