Andreas Pereira completed a late transfer window loan move to Granada, and it’s still making headlines in Spain.
Spanish newspaper AS cover the story in their Wednesday edition, after the player was officially presented, and have quotes from the Manchester United player.
Pereira, who did well for Brazil in the FIFA U20 World Cup last year, is quoted as explaining himself to an interested media: “I defend and attack and I like especially the position of eight.
“It was important to come and play. Now I’m focused on training well for the next game.”
The Manchester United youngster said he chose Granada because the club’s style of play is something he can easily identify with, and he pointed out there were offers from other clubs too.
On Jose Mourinho praising him in a recent press conference, Pereira said: “I’m happy for what Mourinho says about me.”
Mourinho’s backing is also something which impresses the Spanish media.
