Italian outlet Milan News features today an interview with Brazilian journalist Gustavo Fogaça to talk about a specific player.

Given rumours saying the Rossoneri are following the Internacional defender Bruno Fuchs, they’ve quizzed the DAZN reporter on more information on the 21-year-old.

And it turns out that when speaking about the race for Fuchs, Fogaça pointed out that Premier League giants Arsenal have been following the player as well.

“Yes, in addition to Milan, Arsenal and Porto also sent their scouts to Porto Alegre to analyse the player. But for the moment, nobody has made a written proposal,” Fogaça told Milan News.

“However, the president of the Internacional, Marcelo Medeiros, said he was willing to sell the young defender.”

Asked about how much it would cost to take Fuchs from Internacional, the journalist said it’s difficult to think of an exact amount, but something between €2m and €5m would be enough.

Fuchs made his debut for Internacional’s first team last year, and only has 17 appearances for the club so far. Since he’s been part of Brazil’s youth ranks, it’s no surprise to see foreign clubs already interested in him.

Arsenal’s trip to watch Fuchs had already been reported by the Brazilian media back in March, as they watched the local derby between Internacional and Grêmio for the Copa Libertadores. The game finished with a 0-0 draw and had eight players sent off.
