Despite having found an agreement with Paris Saint Germain for the transfer of Lucas Moura, it seems that Tottenham Hotspur are still sorting the last details of the move.
ESPN Brasil reporter João Castelo Branco was live from White Hart Lane this morning giving updates on the situation, and despite confirming that the player is already in London to have his medical, he claims the contract is not completely agreed.
People close to the situation have told him that the deal ‘is not 100%’, but ‘well forwarded’ as things should be finalised in the next few hours. The transfer announcement would happen still today or tomorrow.
Tottenham are said to be paying £25m for the permanent transfer, although there have been other figures putting the fee at €25m. Either way, it’s much less than the €40m PSG were initially looking for from the Lucas deal.
Lucas Moura leaves PSG with 46 goals and 50 assists in 229 appearances.
