Premier League champions Manchester City are continuing to do some big transfer missions for South American youngsters.

Since Pep Guardiola’s arrival, the club has signed the likes of Gabriel Jesus, Marlos Moreno, and Douglas Luiz, with other rumours being constantly run by the local press.

Today, Gazeta Press reports Manchester City have tried to achieve a priority over three players from Palmeiras’ academy.

The news agency claims the club tried to have a clause over defender Henri, left-back Luan Cândido and striker Fernando until 2022.  According to report, the negotiations were handled by Cadu, Manchester City’s representative in South America.

However, all three attempts have been turned down by Palmeiras, who are not interested in negotiating these players for now.

As they are all between 16 and 19 years of age, there’s a long way to go before any of them are sold, to Manchester City or anyone else.
