Even though Napoli midfielder Jorginho was born in Brazil, it’s quite rare to see him highlighted in his home country’s media.

The 26-year-old has been playing in Italy since he was a teenager, which has made him quite unknown in the South American country until getting this recent success for the Serie A side.

The fact that he’s chosen to play for the Italian national team only made him look more like a foreigner, and that’s why the local media doesn’t care much.

However, there’s finally an update on his transfer situation coming from Brazil this time, with website UOL reporting a Premier League chase for him.

Even though it’s Manchester City and Manchester United who have been strongly linked to the player lately, the website claims that Arsenal and Liverpool are in the race as well.

According to the report, Jorginho’s agent has recently met representatives from the four clubs as they listen to offers for next season.

Only Manchester City’s interested is detailed in the story, with UOL claiming Pep Guardiola wants a long-term substitute for Fernandinho. With the negotiations for Fred said to have collapsed in January, Jorginho became the manager’s priority for the summer.
