Bournemouth are on the verge of completing a deal for Juventus defender Dean Huijsen, with the ‘absolute surprise’ deal now close to being finalised.

That’s according to journalist Alfredo Pedullà, who reports that Bournemouth’s transfer effort for the defender is ‘about to materialise’ into a move worth €15m plus €4m in ‘easy’ bonuses.

The deal will also include Juventus getting 15% from any future sale, although it is not made clear whether this is profit on a future sale or just 15% of the overall sale.

Marco Conterio has slightly different details on the matter, reporting that Bournemouth will pay €18m plus €4m for the defender, who has signed a four-year contract at the club. According to his information, Huijsen has given his approval to the move.

Despite that slight difference in price, it seems both are confident that Bournemouth are set to get Huijsen this summer and a deal is now basically done for him.

His approval of the move is likely key and with an agreement now in place with Juventus, we’ll await the mythical Italian white smoke and the player travelling for a medical poste haste.
