With just 23 minutes of league football under his belt, not everything has gone according to the plan for French striker Lys Mousset.
The 20-year-old was signed from Le Havre in the summer in a €7.5m deal, but has been rarely used by Eddie Howe. However, a could return to France could be on the cards for Mousset, reports French newspaper L’Equipe.
Ligue 1 side Bastia have already enquired about the possibility of signing Mousset on loan, whilst Metz and Montpellier are also lurking around.
Last month in an interview Mousset revealed he could have signed for Arsenal or Tottenham if he wanted to spend time on the bench, and wasn’t really happy about his situation.
Swansea City have been also linked with a move for Mousset, but that was when Bob Bradley was still at the club.
Mousset has a contract until 2020 and a loan move could be ideal for him, especially if Eddie Howe doesn’t see him in his plans for the rest of the season.
