AFC Bournemouth are one of several sides keen on Shakhtar Donetsk full-back Dodô, with the defender ‘constantly sought after’ by the Cherries.
That’s according to UOL in Brazil, who say Bournemouth have been quoted €20m by the Ukrainian side.
They explain that Dodô has been the target of several ‘consultations and approaches’ in recent days from clubs in Brazil and in Europe but is yet to decide on the next step of his career.
That’s because, unlike other Brazilians in the squad, Shakhtar are doing everything they can to keep him and have put a €20m price tag on his head.
They’ve already sent the likes of Maycon and Tetê on loan to Corinthians and Lyon, with both players using the window opened by FIFA to leave Ukraine following Russia’s invasion of the country.
However, they are less keen to let Dodô go and have ‘posed more obstacles’ to a transfer in his case.
That’s because they know there are plenty of suitors for him, with the player receiving an offer from Bayern Munich last year and now ‘constantly sought after’ by Bournemouth and Arsenal.
They, then, are sticking to their €20m valuation, presumably hoping it will put off the likes of Bournemouth and help them keep one of their prized assets.
