It seems the race for the Porto youngster Diogo Queirós is only getting hotter.

Yesterday, we had already covered claims from Portugal saying the player has ‘offers on the table’, with a big chance he would move to the Premier League this summer.

But there are more possibilities for him, and that’s what A Bola is covering today. They’ve taken claims from Italy which say that Roma are also in for the 19-year-old.

The Giallorossi would be ready to offer €12.5m for the youngster, with club director Monchi handling the deal.

A Bola recalls that both Bournemouth and Liverpool are interested in Queirós, although there’s no information on when or how much the English sides would bid for him.

So if Roma are really acting first, it looks like it’s about time for English clubs to move or they will end up losing their target.

Bournemouth and Liverpool should be prepared for an auction, but with the defender’s release clause being of only €25m, the numbers can’t get that big.
