Spanish outlet AS has a story today about Javi Sanchez, who they claim to be ‘one of the few positives’ from Real Madrid in the past few weeks.
The 21-year-old defender has been doing well when called up for games in the first team this season, and is getting an important status in the squad.
His success has also been getting the attention from several other clubs, and that’s where Bournemouth are included.
AS claims that Real Valladolid are interested in signing Sanchez on a loan deal, while Bournemouth and Real Sociedad would both be keen on a permanent transfer.
Real Madrid, however, aren’t interested in any of the possibilities. The Galacticos have responded to all the approaches saying Sanchez is staying where he is.
With a contract running until 2022 and a €300m release clause, there’s not much these clubs can do to get the player, unless Real Madrid change their mind.
A long shot for Bournemouth, then.
