Portuguese side Moreirense are eyeing up signings from Bournemouth this summer, thanks to the pair sharing owners.
That’s according to Record, who say Bournemouth could be a ‘source of reinforcements’ for the Portuguese club in the summer transfer window.
The newspaper explains that there is a close relationship between Moreirense and Bournemouth thanks to both being owned by the Black Knight fund. They own Bournemouth and 70% of the Portuguese club.
That ‘synergy’ will allow the two clubs to work together in the transfer window. The feeling is that new Moreirense coach Vasco Botelho da Costa will be given access to Bournemouth players to bolster his squad.
These will likely be youngsters who can be developed in Portuguese football, but there could be other opportunities as well. That’s something for both clubs to look at and analyse in the coming weeks.
Either way, the links is seen as a positive for the Portuguese side, who could have easy access to players to strengthen their squad this summer, thanks to the shared ownership with Bournemouth and the new pathway that’s created for them moving forwards.
