On August 18th, Nice-Matin reported that an intermediary wanted to take Fulham’s Tosin Adarabioyo to Tottenham Hotspur despite the defender favouring a move to AS Monaco.

Three days later, RMC Sport reported Marco Silva is keen to sign Spurs’ Eric Dier and wants to include Adarabioyo as part of the deal.

L’Equipe have a report on the 25-year-old and their title says Fulham open the door for both Monaco and Tottenham to sign him.

The Ligue 1 side have regained hope in their pursuit of the centre-back while they have to be wary of the competition from the north London club, who are ‘still there’ in the race.

Adarabioyo came off the bench in his side’s 2-2 draw against Arsenal on Saturday and hopes to leave Fulham before the window closes.

Silva’s side had recently slowed down the negotiations but the report now states the ‘door has opened a little in recent hours’ for the player’s transfer.

Adarabioyo’s deal expires in 2024 and L’Equipe say Fulham are ‘ready to let go’ of him.

Ange Postecoglou’s side would have to convince Adarabioyo because earlier claims had suggested he prefers Monaco.
