Adama Traore gets the front page of Thursday’s edition of AS, with the newspaper going with a headline saying: ‘Spain has muscle’
The Spanish media have been closed to obsessed with how the Wolves player has developed physically. That they pay more attention than others is partly because they saw him grow up through Barcelona’s youth system and didn’t really expect his game to become so much with regards to strength.
Coming off the bench after an hour against Portugal on Wednesday evening, the Wolves man impressed despite not being able to change the 0-0 scoreline into something brighter for Spain.
AS call him ‘The Bomb’, but make clear to say his game isn’t all about muscle. Combined with his technical ability, it makes Traore a ‘terrifying extreme mix’ and they label him a ‘steamroller with boots’.
He ‘revolutionised’ the match and would have provided an assist for Dani Olmo, had it not been for Rui Patricio managing to save the shot.
Traore showed his enjoyment on the pitch, had fun during the match, and that’s something which has also impressed the Spanish media, with widespread praise for the Wolves player today.
