Blackburn Rovers narrowly missed out on the Championship playoffs as they finished in seventh spot, two points behind sixth placed Bristol City.

Blackburn Rovers have made progress in their efforts to sign KV Kortrijk’s Dion De Neve this summer, according to Het Nieuwsblad and Het Laatste Nieuws.
Het Nieuwsblad has a short report stating the 23-year-old will ‘leave for England’ where he will join Blackburn Rovers on a permanent transfer.
Kortrijk have been relegated from the Jupiler Pro League. HLN states the left-back will leave them for the Championship club.
Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share more on Blackburn Rovers’ interest in the defender.
He claims Valérien Ismaël’s side have found an agreement with Kortrijk to sign De Neve. The journalist adds the two clubs are sorting out the final details of the operation.
According to him, the Belgian will sign a long-term contract with Blackburn Rovers.
Het Nieuwsblad, HLN or Sacha Tavolieri makes no mention of the fee the English club are paying to Kortrijk for De Neve.
