Fanatik claim Besiktas are set to rival Galatasaray for the signature of Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye.

It’s been well documented in the Turkish press in recent weeks that Galatasaray are looking to sign Ndiaye on a loan deal, but Fanatik now say their bitter rivals Besiktas are also in the race to sign him.

According to Fanatik, Besiktas have offered €2.7m a season for Ndiaye and talks with Stoke City are progressing at this stage

It’s reported that Besiktas manager Senol Gunes is keen on Ndiaye because of his versatility and he’s hoping the board can get a deal done for the player.

Ndiaye is also reportedly keen on playing in Turkey again and with the lack of offers coming in from Premier League clubs this is his likely destination at the moment.

The player made 13 appearances for Stoke City last season and is under contract with the Championship club until 2022.
