Earlier on Monday, Sport Witness covered claims from Tuttosport that Afriyie Acquah has agreed terms to move to Birmingham City.

In principle, Torino are happy to let the midfielder go, and are already planning for life without him.

As soon as Acquah moves to Birmingham City, Godfred Donsah is expected to join Tprino from Bologna, and both players are already following their possible new teams on social media.

Tuttosport revealed Torino’s asking price for Acquah is €10m, but we speculated Birmingham could probably get the player for a little less.

It would appear the Championship club believe that too, with Gazzetta dello Sport reporting an offer of €8-9m has arrived.

That offer is described as being good, and Birmingham City want a final answer before the end of today, they’re not keen to mess about with this one.

Today is said to be ‘decisive’ and things could even be agreed, or alternatively fall to pieces, in the ‘next few hours’.
