Bilal Brahimi is on the verge of signing for Stade de Reims, according to claims coming from France on Wednesday.
The 19 year old has been with Middlesbrough since 2017 and in recent months there’s been some confusion about his contract situation. A change of agents made a transfer likelier, with it being claimed the youngster was being offered around other clubs.
France Football are bringing the Reims claims and they don’t say anything about a transfer fee being paid to Middlesbrough, indeed it looks like the assumption is he’s a free agent.
About the man himself, France Football don’t share much opinion for followers of Reims, and point out the footballer is known for having hair like David Luiz and Carlos Valderrama.
Reims finished eighth last season, which wasn’t a bad outcome for them and they’ll be hoping to build on it.
