Matheus Cunha has impressed for Wolverhampton Wanderers this season despite their struggles in the Premier League.
The forward has managed nine goals and three assists from 17 league games and his displays haven’t gone unnoticed.
Recent claims have seen the Wolves star linked to a few English clubs, and Paris Saint-Germain are now added as an alternative.
That’s according to Jeunes Footeux, and they state the Ligue 1 winners’ interest in the 25-year-old is ‘a big surprise’.
The Brazil international can operate up front and across other attacking positions, which makes him an interesting option for PSG.
Luis Enrique seems to be pleased with his versatility as the report states the manager has approved his signing.
It’s claimed Cunha’s agent Giuliano Bertolucci has a good relationship with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi and club advisor Luis Campos. In addition to this, the latter also has close ties with super-agent Jorge Mendes, who has a lot of influence at Wolves.
PSG will ‘seriously consider’ taking him away from Vítor Pereira’s side, who are currently in the relegation zone. It’s not clear whether Wolves are willing to let Cunha leave in January.
