The front page of Friday’s edition of Record has a huge Manchester City story.

The Premier League champions have been repeatedly linked with a move for Bruno Fernandes in recent weeks, with claims emerging of a meeting this week with Sporting officials.

At that meeting, City are expected to submit an offer, with various claims putting that at €50-70m.

Record say Bruno isn’t the only one.

They claim that Manchester City are ‘hunting’ in Lisbon, and are also getting ready to sign Joao Felix from Benfica. The 19 year old is one of the most highly rated youth products to emerge in Portugal over the past decade, and has impressed repeatedly this season already.

Signing both Bruno and Felix would be a huge show of intention from City, but would also cost a huge amount.

Record say the English club are ‘ready to invest’ in the pair and ‘open the purse strings’ to make sure they beat competition.

Txiki Begiristain is described as being ‘determined’, especially over Bruno, and contact has already been made with people close to the player.

Jorge Mendes is said to be right in the middle of things, having good contacts at both Lisbon clubs and also at City, with it being explained the Manchester club were very happy with how the deals for Ederson and Bernardo Silva went.

Record insist ‘money is no problem’ for the club and they’d use sales to balance the books with FFP.

Leroy Sane is named as a player who could leave.
