Chinese club Tianjin are still looking for a striker, and have been linked with Chelsea’s Diego Costa recently. Stricter rules on recruitment at Chinese clubs hasn’t changed the fact that Tianjin have a space available and are looking for a forward.

Reports over the past week have hyped up a supposed altercation between Costa and his Chelsea manager Antonio Conte, but as quickly as the story came it went and there’s now been an outbreak of peace at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.

Another boost for Chelsea and the club’s fans could come indirectly from Italy. Gazzetta dello Sport report Tianjin are getting closer to completing a deal to sign Nikola Kalinic from Fiorentina.

There’d be no need to worry about Tianjin dangling squillions in front of Costa to try and unsettle the Chelsea player.
