Crystal Palace are confident of having Daniel Muñoz available for the clash against Nottingham Forest after he completed two days of normal training this week.
That’s according to journalist Pipe Sierra, who reports that the full-back has already recovered from the injury suffered against Liverpool.
Crystal Palace had feared they’d lost the Colombian for an extended period of time after he limped out of the defeat to Liverpool before the international break.
His injury appear to be some sort of tear, with reports in Colombia stating as much at the time and the full back being sent for a CT scan to determine the damage.
He missed the international break but Sierra reports that the 28-year-old is in perfect condition and fully fit for Crystal Palace’s clash against Nottingham Forest on Monday.
Muñoz has already completed two days of normal training this week and that’s seemingly led to encouragement that he will be available to start the clash at the City Ground.
That will be a major boost for Crystal Palace and Oliver Glasner as they look to overcome their disappointing start to the season and kickstart their campaign.
