Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was suspended for Borussia Dortmund’s last match, having skipped a team meeting ahead of the game.

Since then the club have made it clear he’d be available for the trip to Berlin for Dortmund’s next match, having trained normally, but he’s not travelled.

Bild report Aubameyang wasn’t on the plane so isn’t in Dortmund’s travelling squad for the trip to Berlin. The German newspaper then say this means a transfer to Arsenal is ‘probably imminent’.

Bild use their own previous claims to back up the idea, and also quotes from Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger talking up the player.

It’s the newspaper’s major online sport story right now and is very much being seen as a clear sign that an Arsenal move is getting closer.

Bild reporter Sebastian Kolsberger has taken to Twitter to explain Aubameyang hasn’t travelled because his head isn’t right.

SportBild reporter Sven Westerschulze suggests that given the comments from Peter Stoger, BVB manager, about Aubameyang being considered normally for the match, it’s likely the footballer himself who has decided against playing.
