Brighton and Hove Albion are a side to keep an eye on when it comes to Fiorentina’s Michael Kayode.

That’s according to Firenze Viola, who reports that Como need to ‘beware of Brighton’ who could use their ‘excellent relationship’ with the club to their advantage.

They explain that Kayode is expected to be on the move this month after only manager 124 minutes in Serie A to date.

That’s led to speculation about his future and there are several admirers inside Italy, with Roma, Como and Parma all ‘in pole position’ for him.

There’s also suitors in the Premier League, with Brighton and Brentford known to be admirers of the 20-year-old.

The former have an excellent relationship with the Italian club after signing Igor from them in the past and because of this, dialogues between the two clubs could reopen at any time.

At this moment in time Fiorentina would only like to let the youngster leave on loan until the end of the season but his suitors are seeking to include a right to buy option for €17/18m. That is the biggest stumbling block in any talks at this moment in time.

Brighton have that excellent relationship to use to their advantage and get around that, though, if they step forward to try and sign the full-back.
