A few days ago we published an article which started with ‘Ousmane Dembele to Arsenal is something Don Balon just love pushing.’
And, well, they’re at it again.
Arsenal were said to have the ‘strongest bid’ to take Dembele away from Barcelona, and the player was presented as keen because he could link up with his old Borussia Dortmund buddy Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
On Tuesday they claim Dembele has three proposals to leave Barcelona, and there’s one which convinces him. Inter Milan and Juventus are keen, but for the player it’s Arsenal who stand out.
Arsenal’s chances of qualifying for the Champions League, via the Europa League, are also talked up, perhaps showing Don Balon have more faith in that than some of the club’s fans.
It’s a little Don Balon imagination burst again, but if Antoine Griezmann makes the move to Barcelona this summer then there are genuine question marks over Dembele’s future.
