Liverpool were linked with a move for AC Milan’s Christian Pulisic some weeks ago, and the Reds are now being mentioned again.

Calciomercato have reported today on the US international’s future, stating that he is now set to sign a new deal at Milan and this should end Liverpool’s hopes of signing him.

The report states the Anfield club have ‘shown interest’ in the 26-year-old, but the Rossoneri have almost found an agreement over a new deal for their star player. He will extend his deal until the summer of 2029 and get a pay rise.

This would move to Liverpool more costly, with West Ham also having drawn links with the winger in the past few weeks.

The ex-Chelsea player has impressed for the Italian side this season, scoring 12 times and racking up nine assists so far in what has been an otherwise disappointing campaign for the Rossoneri.

Should Liverpool really make a serious move then Italian confidence over a renewal blocking things will be tested.
