Real Madrid are beginning to believe that Casemiro ‘has already made up his mind’ about a move to Manchester United.

That’s according to Marca, who say the Spanish giants no longer see a transfer as a possibility but something that is ‘real and obvious’.

They explain that while the directors at the Santiago Bernabeu are staying quiet on the potential transfer, there is a ‘conviction’ that he has already made up his mind and wants to go to Old Trafford.

Manchester United are yet to make an official offer for him but they believe he will ask to go once that does happen.

The Brazilian knows that Madrid will not stand in his way and while he has not spoken to Carlo Ancelotti or the directors about the interest, they know the Brazilian ‘wants to accept the proposal’.

While Madrid will not block any exit, they are not keen on doing charity work either, particularly as they are aware Manchester United have ‘economic power’ at their disposal.

They are unlikely to want his €500m release clause to be met and, so far, there is no fixed amount being discussed.

However, €60m is a figure that would be a wise ‘starting point’.

Ancelotti is not particularly open to the sale but knows that it would be out of his hands and so is continuing to work regardless, hence not talking to the player about the situation.

It all depends on Manchester United making a firm bid but there is a growing feeling at Valdebebas that it will arrive and Casemiro wants them to accept it.
