Manchester United youngster Facundo Pellistri returning to Alavés is considered ‘feasible’ this summer.
That’s according to AS, who say the club’s Alavés’ sporting director, Sergio Fernández, has been eyeing up the move for several months.
Pellistri spent the second half of last season on loan with the Spanish club and impressed when given the chance.
He’s likely to be loaned out again this summer but so far has not departed Old Trafford, with Manchester United yet to decide what to do with him.
Alavés have always been keen to have him back and have made that clear and seem to be Pellistri’s first choice, which seemingly put them in the driving seat to get him back.
AS now say a deal is ‘feasible’, suggesting Manchester United would be open to letting it happen if both were able to reach some sort of agreement.
Alavés’ sporting director, Sergio Fernández, is certainly keen to make it so, having admitted at the end of last season that he would want Pellistri and fellow loanees Battaglia and Lejeune back at the club.
The latter is now closing in on making that happen, and it seems there’s a belief Pellistri could join him at some point.
