Despite doubts that Antonio Conte would want to leave when the season ended, the qualification for the Champions League put that idea to rest for at least another year.
The manager will want to see what he can do with Spurs in the European competition, and so will oversee the 2022-23 campaign in London, hoping some reinforcements come in via Fabio Paratici.
What happens beyond that, however, is a mystery, as his contract with Tottenham only runs until 2023, at which point he and the club will have to make a decision.
One club he is always linked to is Juventus following two successful spells there between 2011 and 2014, before he left to take the Italy national team job.
They currently have Max Allegri in charge, but should that not work out going forward, then Conte would quickly return as an option for the Serie A side.
This is according to Italian journalist Romeo Agresti, who spoke on the Juventibus Twitch channel, relayed by Calciomercato.it.
He said: “Momblano says that the relationship between Conte and Juventus is good again? Not only is it good, but it’s excellent. If Allegri were to leave, the name of the Tottenham manager from Salento is to be taken into consideration.
“I’m sure that, regardless of this summer, Conte will return to Juventus sooner or later. Just like Allegri himself, but also Trapattoni and Lippi returned to the Juventus bench before him.”
