Arsenal are ‘ready for anything’ in their efforts to sign midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio this summer.
That’s according to Tutto Juve, who say the Gunners ‘would offer’ €50m to sign the Serbian and continue their building in this transfer window.
They explain that Lazio president Claudio Lotito has always been known to be a ‘very tough person’ when it comes to negotiating the sale of his players.
He won’t change that stance for Milinkovic-Savic, who is the undisputed star of the side and someone he does not want to sell.
Instead, he is ‘trying to make as much money as possible’ from a potential sale of the 27-year-old.
He’s ‘attracting the attention’ of Arsenal, who would like to turn the Serbian star into one of the big names of this summer Premier League transfer window.
Whether their bid of €50m will be enough to convince Lotito into a sale isn’t mentioned here, but a report three days ago stated that a bid had been rejected, so it would seem it wasn’t.
It’s also been claimed that Arsenal could go as high as €65m to get a deal over the line, so expected to hear about more efforts and bids sooner rather than later.
