BeinSports’ Sansal Buyuka says Swansea City forward Bafetimbi Gomis is the first choice forward target for Galatasaray this summer. The Swansea City outcast was linked with a move this weekend to Turkey in the French media.
Later speaking to Fanatik, Bayuka confirmed the Turkish giants are interested in the player when he said: “I’ve heard the name of Bafetimbi Gomis. From multiple sources. It’s safe to say Galatasaray are chasing him.”
The Swansea City owned player was once again on the scoresheet this weekend against Bordeaux, as he continues his impressive spell with the Ligue 1 side. After his latest goal, he’s now scored 20 goals for Marseille in all competitions in this campaign.
Gomis’ parent club Swansea City secured their status in the Premier League for next season at the weekend, but it’s currently unknown if he’s in the plans of Paul Clement.
Recent reports from the Turkish press have also suggested Fenerbahçe are in the hunt for Gomis, as they look to replace Fernandao and Emenike in the next window.
