Bryan Gil is now a full Spanish international at the age of just 20. The youngster made his debut for the senior national team in March, facing Greece.

Currently on loan at Eibar from Sevilla, he’s already receiving attention from other clubs, and that includes Barcelona. Thursday’s edition of AS states the Blaugrana ‘have set their eyes’ on the attacker, and would be tempted to sign him.

Right now his release clause at Sevilla is around €50m it’s thought that should be enough to scare clubs off for the next few months. Sevilla’s Monchi is already thinking about a renewal, and has been talking to the player’s representatives for several weeks over a new deal.

That would see a contract lasting until 2025, and a release clause of €100m, but maybe as high as €150m.

Should Barcelona interest in Bryan Gil be serious then they clearly need to consider whether it’s worth sinking the blow now, before the price goes higher and more competition arrives.
