Barcelona have no plans to reinforce their squad by bringing in new faces in January, reports AS on Thursday.
Their technical secretary Eric Abidal and his assistant Ramon Planes will focus working on sanctioning transfers of ‘at least’ three current players from the Camp Nou.
Two of them are Carles Aleñá and Jean-Clair Todibo, who have struggled for minutes this season and the Spanish champions are of the belief they need to go elsewhere in search of regular opportunities.
In principle, Barca would prefer allowing Aleñá and Todibo to go out on loan, but they would also sell the duo if a purchase option is included.
Aleñá came through La Masia and there is belief at Barcelona that he will come good in the future. Todibo, on the other hand, has failed to convince those at the Catalan club since joining them in January 2019.
The third player is one of Ivan Rakitić or Arturo Vidal, but AS explains the Blaugrana will not allow either of them leave if their transfer demands are not met.
