Ousmane Dembélé’s agent has reportedly met with Manchester City as his time at Barcelona nears an end.
The French forward has endured a difficult time at the Nou Camp since arriving in a £112m deal from Borussia Dortmund in August 2017.
El Desmarque says Barcelona are looking to get rid next summer and are already weighing up their options.
Dembélé knows his time at the club is at an end too, and it seems his agent, Moussa Sissoko, is now working to find him a new club.
He’s been spotted meeting with Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City, which has caused another schism at Barcelona as he did not have permission to do so.
Nonetheless, he likes the idea of a move to Manchester City, and the website claims that they are the club who would ‘more willing’ to pay for the forward.
They’re prepared to offer €95m, a price that would make Barça think given they’ve seen his value drop from €140m to €70m.
They’re attempting to use Dembélé as part of a deal to either get Neymar or Lautaro Martínez, the two players that Leo Messi has asked the club to sign next year.
City’s willingness to pay, which will presumably be there should Leroy Sané head to Bayern Munich, could change that though.
