In Mundo Deportivo’s Friday edition it was reported that Jair Mina has reached agreement on behalf of his nephew with all of Manchester United, Everton and Lyon.
The priority for both Yerry Mina and club was said to be United, with Barca feeling they can get more money from Jose Mourinho’s side.
Now things have changed slightly.
In a Friday lunchtime article, the Catalan newspaper states that whilst Barca wait for Manchester United to show up with a firm offer, Uncle Jair is pushing the La Liga club to sort the situation out.
The two strongest proposals on the table are from Everton and Lyon, and these are the only clubs to have presented a firm offer. Therefore, Uncle Jair has ‘demanded’ Barcelona sit down and talk to them.
Both clubs are reported to have made a ‘significant economic effort’, going up to €30m for the Colombian defender. Barca have so far refused to sit down with Everton and Lyon because they’re holding out for €40m.
If an agreement isn’t found today, it’s stated Yerry Mina will fly to Barcelona, where he’s scheduled to start training with his teammates on August 6th.
