Nottingham Forest are said to be in the mix to sign Barcelona’s Abde Ezzalzouli.

The winger is currently on loan at CA Osasuna and his displays have caught the attention of several clubs.

Wednesday’s edition of Mundo Deportivo has a report on the Catalan club’s plans for the 21-year-old and also the claims of Nottingham Forest wanting to secure his services.

The Blaugrana have been closely monitoring his situation at Osasuna and have come to the conclusion that it’s best to include him in their plans next season. They think Abde can be a ‘very valid resource’ on the left wing.

Xavi Hernández has held various discussions with the Morocco international and informed him that he wants to count on him next season. Abde is also excited about the possibility of representing Barca.

The newspaper states ‘only the urgency of a sale’ would separate Abde from the La Liga side. It’s said those in charge at the Camp Nou are aware of the claims of Premier League sides ‘preparing proposals’ to sign the attacker.

Only Nottingham Forest get a mention and the report states Steve Cooper’s side would be interested in offering €30m plus bonuses for the attacker. They haven’t made this offer so far.

Barca aren’t aware of this specific proposal from Nottingham Forest, but they believe offers would arrive for Abde after the Copa del Rey final between Osasuna and Real Madrid on May 6th.

In the event Nottingham Forest offer €30m for Abde, they would have to convince him to get the deal over the line in the summer.
