Milliyet report Stoke City midfielder Badou Ndiaye has arrived in Istanbul ahead of his transfer to Galatasaray.
The Senegal international has been linked with a return to the Turkish side throughout the summer and the player will be announced as a Galatasaray signing very soon.
With Stoke City’s relegation to the Championship it always seemed likely he would move on before the transfer window deadline in Turkey.
It’s claimed the Turkish club will pay Stoke City a season loan fee of €1m after already agreeing personal terms with Ndiaye.
A move back to Turkey has looked on the cards in recent days after Galatasaray informed KAP (the Turkish stock market) that they were in talks with Stoke City with regards to signing the central midfielder. Ndiaye only joined the Potters for €16m in January from the Istanbul club.
Ndiaye is now expected to watch his new teammates tonight when the Turkish champions take on Alanyaspor in the Super Lig.
Update: Ndiaye has now passed his medical report Milliyet.
